Bomb Squad Goes Nuclear!!!
April 19, 2010 by Seth Fargher
Colten Moore, member of the world reknown Bomb Squad ATV freestyle motocross team, just wrapped up his third and final stop of the Nuclear Cowboyz tour.
The Nuclear Cowboyz is a freestyle motocross show combining some of the worlds greatest freestyle motocross riders with trials riding, dancers, lights and pirotechnics. The show has been making its way across the United States since early January and concluded last weekend at a stop in Chicago Illinois.
The younger Moore brother received a call after Derek Guetter took a nasty spill on a backflip in Tacoma Washington. Derek had been riding the event prior to his get-off which left him with two broken bones in his leg. Moore boarded a plane bound for Anahem California and found himself riding on one of the biggest stages of his life. Being the only quad rider in the event provided him an opportunity to stand out amidst a sea of talented riders. Other big names taking part in the event were the likes of Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg, Nate Adams, Ronnie Faisst, Todd Potter, Adam Jones, Jimmie McGuire and a host of other riders. While the entire show is an incredible spectacle, Colten’s segment capped off with an amazing backflip was definitely a crowd favorite.
With an excellent performance at his first ever Winter X Games, several international shows in Puerto Rico and Costa Rica and now his debut as a Nuclear Cowboy, 2010 looks to be quite a ride from the Krum Texas native.
