Aw the sweet sounds and sights of thousands of ATV enthusiasts gathered together, united by a common goal:  Hardcore duning!!!  If you’ve never been to an ATV festival I strongly urge you to attend one at some point in your life.

Last August I had the opportunity to meet up with Bill “WBGO” Lanphier at the 2008 Oregon Dune Fest in Winchester Bay Oregon.  In addition to doing some testing for ATV Sport we spent the vast majority of our time covering the event; Bill for the magazine and I for this blog.  Its hard to put this event into words so I put my new video camera to work for the weekend and will let the footage speak for itself.  Suffice to say it was a weekend filled with racing, riding and just enjoying this great sport with thousands of strangers all intent on having a good time.  Enjoy!

If you have trouble viewing the video you can view it on my website    www.LocalHeroesNW.com
