Racing on the beach??

Sitting on the beach during the summer soaking up the sun one can’t what it would be like to race your quad on these very sands?
Well, wonder no more. The New Jersey beach resort community of Wildwood has the answer. Twice a year for the past several years there has been an AMA sanctioned event held right on the beach. The fine people at Thunder Moto have organized and promoted a 3 day event in the early summer and a 3 day event in the fall.
As luck would have it the fall event is just around the corner. October 10-12 2008 with be the fall version of Thunder in the Sand. Practice is held on Friday and racing on Saturday and Sunday. One moto each day for a relaxing atmosphere and camping right on the beach if you wish. Of course the famous Wildwood Boardwalk is right up the beach from the track for all of your entertainment need.

Are there any dirt bike/quad camps? I have been in competition before but I quit because I wasnt up for anymore. To me not having a challenge is just a waste of my time. Its been 4 years since I’ve been on a bike or quad, and i was wondering if you know of any camps you can give me. I would love to ride again. I just need to learn a few of the basics and im good.
