Salute to the Weekend Warrior
August 11, 2008 by Seth Fargher
I work in a bank. My first love is anything to do with ATV’s yet the harsh reality of life is that we are not all blessed with the opportunity to earn a living doing what we love. For now, I am ok with that. As a recent college graduate, I took the first opportunity that came along which happened to be working in a bank. I’m thankful for the opportunity, a steady paycheck, and consistent schedule however I would much rather be turning wrenches, fabricating a masterpiece of a machine, or racing ATV’s at the professional level. (If I could only be so lucky) No matter, for the time being I am content with enjoying my hobby as simply that, a hobby. Something I can do for the pure joy of it.
One of my goals for this blog is to connect with other like minded individuals who share my passion for the sport. I began dabbling in video production a few years ago and have discovered it is a great way to share from my various riding experiences. My goal as a contributing author to this blog is to produce various videos highlighting events, new products, and hopefully showcasing other weekend warriors out to enjoy the sport they love.
Let this first blog entry serve as an introduction. I’ve included a video as a sample of some of the work I have done, and some of what is to come. I think the video will give you a feel for who I am and what I love to do. Stay tuned for more videos including highlights from the recent Oregon Dune Fest as well as product reviews and spotlights on some of the industry’s biggest aftermarket companies.
Thanks, and enjoy!!!
